The Light of Cappadocia: Graphic Traces of Geological Time
"The Light of Cappadocia" is a visual inventory that reinterprets the aesthetic heritage born of a million-year formation process through the language of light and form. The unique geography of Cappadocia, especially when combined with the white veil of winter, transforms into a pure graphic feast, stripped of chaos. Moving beyond the familiar touristic image of the region, this series records the lines and details that define the soul of the landscape, and the timeless dance of light upon the stone.
In this work, the photographer utilizes the simplifying power of snow as a backdrop, transforming Cappadocia’s geological layers into intricate patterns. By making the geography's color palette and forms more pronounced, the snow invites the viewer to wander among the details of a natural architecture.

Kapadokya’nın Işığı: Jeolojik Zamanın Grafik İzleri
"Kapadokya’nın Işığı", milyonlarca yıllık bir oluşum sürecinin doğurduğu estetik mirası, ışığın ve formun diliyle yeniden yorumlayan bir görsel envanter çalışmasıdır. Kapadokya’nın kendine has coğrafyası, özellikle kış mevsiminin getirdiği beyaz örtü ile birleştiğinde, karmaşadan arınmış, saf bir grafik şölene dönüşür. Bu seri, bölgenin bilinen turistik imajının ötesine geçerek; coğrafyanın ruhunu belirleyen çizgileri, detayları ve ışığın taş üzerindeki zamansız dansını kayıt altına alır.
Fotoğrafçı, bu çalışmada karın sadeleştirici gücünü bir fon olarak kullanırken, Kapadokya’nın jeolojik katmanlarını birer desene dönüştürür. Kar, coğrafyanın renk paletini ve formlarını daha belirgin kılarak, izleyiciyi bir doğa mimarisinin detayları arasında gezintiye çıkarır.
